LUCCA FASHION WEEKEND 2025 LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

As part of LUCCA FASHION WEEKEND 2025 the City of Lucca established a prestigious lifetime achievement award celebrating local excellence in fashion.

The winner was announced and the award presented at the opening of the 2025 event on Friday, May 30, in the stunning garden setting of Palazzo Pfanner.

This year, the award was deservedly presented to an all-women-owned business, selected from local companies in the textile craftsmanship and clothing manufacturing sectors: Cappellificio FU.LA. by Fulceri Stefania, Simona & C. S.A.S.

The award, selected by the City and presented by Mayor Mario Pardini to Stefania and Simona, the company’s co-founders, which has been in business for 50 years, is a precious bronze and silver casket resting on a traditional Tessieri tile. Open its two small doors to reveal a small but meaningful surprise: a silver key, symbolizing the “key to success.”

The name Cappellificio Fu.La comes from the initials of its founder, Fulceri Lanfranco, who founded the company in the 1960s with his wife Mara. Their passion for cutting and sewing has led to excellent results over the years, still appreciated by countless customers today.
